
Anyone booking a trip to an unfamiliar area or with a new guide will certainly have lots of questions. I have compiled a list of frequently asked questions and answers to make it a little easier. E-Mail me if you have more questions. Sunscreen of at least SPF 30. A hat that covers you well. Polarized sunglasses. A cooler to take home your catch. Deck shoes or shoes with non-marking non-skid soles. Food and drinks for the day. Bring your camera or camcorder to record some of the area's natural beauty. To insure that your day on the water will be a memorable one, the captain will provide you with the finest tackle by G. Loomis, Shimano and Penn. You are welcome however to bring your own favorite rod and reel. The captain will also provide live or artificial bait as conditions dictate. Two coolers will be on board filled with ice. One for your food and drinks the other for your catch. The captain will have two cameras on board for action and catch and release pictures. Rates Flats Fishing -- 1 to 4 persons $450 all day 1 to 4 persons $325 half day (5 hours) Fly Fishing -- Maximum 2 anglers starts at $325 Tarpon/Shark Evening Trips---Maximum 2 anglers $350 (5 hours) (Fish cleaning services are available at an additional charge) The captain has compiled a list of what he considers the six most important gamefish commonly available to Big Bend flats anglers.
